About reiki
People have been practicing Reiki for about 2500 years. Reiki is a healing practice, people refer to it as hands-on healing. Reiki is derived from the Japanese Language. Reiki was discovered by Mikao Usui in 1920, and his aim was to help students for their self-development. Reiki is a former yet simple healing technique. With daily practice, a person becomes calmer and balanced. People also believe that this practice not only relaxes them but also releases tension from the body. Consistent reiki treatment provides a flow of energy in the whole body. Atoms are made of protons, neutrons, and electrons. Atoms make molecules, molecules make elements and elements make compounds and these compounds make the whole world. That is to say, the whole world is made of protons, neutrons, and electrons. Now the energy that these protons, neutrons, and electrons are made of is called Elementary energy. Which is the Japanese language for Reiki.

Reiki was developed by Dr Mikao Usui in 1920 in Japan.
Usui was born on 15 August 1865 in the village of Tanial.
While growing up, it is believed that he traveled to many Western countries, including the Americas, Europe, and China as a part of his study.
His studies included history, medicine, Buddhism, Christianity, psychology, and Taoism.
The aim of Usui’s teachings was to bestow a method for students to help them achieve connection with the “universal life force” energy that would help them in their self-development.
During the early 1920s, Usui did a 21-day practice on Mount Kurama called the discipline of prayer and fasting,
Usui married Sadako Suzuki, who bore two children by the names of Fuji and Toshiko.Â
In 1922 he settled in Harajuku and set up Gakkai to teach Reiki and gave treatments
